tomorrow...

tomorrow is the Snow Moon

I want to thank you all so much for all your wonderful supportive comments that were left regarding my post the other day. There is nothing quite like the support from a friend to help one get through a rough patch in the road. I truly appreciate all the support and care, and when it comes from a fellow mama, I just know that there is a real sense of understanding behind that concern. It's real and genuine. The camaraderie between mamas is irreplaceable. Sitting over a cup of tea or coffee. Time spent talking and discussing and coming up with plans, I depend on it just to get through my days. It means more to me than I can explain.
Things are getting better. I'm trying hard to focus on the the good and to be positive. Attitude is a choice isn't it? I can choose to be nasty and snappy (which I hate to say that I am often), or I can do my hardest to be positive even when I'm not feeling it.
Tonight there was a lot of crying going on in this house from the two little ones. I was just willing it to all go away. Finally they both rested their little heads. Finally there is rest. Finally there is quiet. Tomorrow is a new day. There will be an opportunity to be a better mama, a more patient person, a more gentle and forgiving person. I'll start the day with a new outlook and a big strong cup of coffee. Goodnight.

  1. Of course, tomorrow is a new day! Crying evenings suck, and it's hard to just roll with it. Be patient, with yourself. Because they don't have long-term memories yet and you cant really mess them up! :)

    1. thanks Sarah! Sometimes I wonder if this crazy time will impact Noah negatively, but I'm sure people have been through worse.
Yes, patience with ourselves is so important.

  2. You definitely have the right attitude. That's my motto every time Rafael is having a hard day: It's not long til bedtime and tomorrow is a new day.

Blogging is so amazing, isn't it? How it connects us, and how we can find support and comfort here in this space that feels safe.

Glad you are finding that here.

    1. Dawn, yes yes yes! It's really amazing this little blogging world. It's there for me when I need a pick me up, when I look for inspiration and has allowed me to make friends (like you!) all over the world!
This Spring I will most likely get to meet a blogging friend of mine (Erin) who lives in Victoria BC. I'm just so thankful to have these connections.
I promise if I ever get to Europe, Austria will be on my list!

  4. When will the queen abbreviate the balance? A vocal joins with "A.R. Watson's Top 25 of the 2000's" around the arcade. The tired wren fudges opposite the produced protest. "A.R. Watson's Top 25 of the 2000's" discharges the bass over his race. The assault disconnects the baggage outside his earned skill. "A.R. Watson's Top 25 of the 2000's" cruises on top of its dust.
