time to pay up

These past few days have been a mix of being busy and slowing down. It is definitely winter here and it can be felt in so many ways. When we wake up it is dark outside and when we eat our dinner it is dark too. Having very little sun makes us all very tired. It makes me want to hibernate, just like the bears here.

Lately around here...
~ there have been dance parties in the kitchen. Slow dancing to Harvest Moon with my Noah. Fast dancing to Of Monsters and Men.
~ Christmas lights are up! Thank you hubby!
~ I invented The. Most. Delicious. Sandwich. Ever. Multigrain bread, old cheddar cheese, peach chutney, caramelized onions, and chicken, then grill it. Seriously this is life changing.
~ cookies have been a baking. Tis the season
~ snow forts are being built by Noah and Daddy
~ I have crafting on my mind ... this and this
~ skype dates and long over due phone calls with friends
~ photo editing
~ party planning ... less than a week till Katia turns one. Seriously people, I am going to have a hard time with this one.
I've been having problems with uploading pictures to my blog. Apparently I have gone over my limit for my free space and I will need to upgrade (and pay Google) for more space. I'm going to do this because I love my little blog here, it's kinda become a part of me...but obviously I'm not in love with the fact that I have to pay up for it. Oh well.
