Remembering

Today I will be remembering those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. My Grandfather fought in WWII. It's hard to even imagine what life was like back then. The long periods of time that loved ones wouldn't hear from their soldiers. Letter writing and telegraphs were the only way to communicate. The hardships. The sacrifice. All for us ... all for the future.

And in present day our soldiers face all kinds of dangers and sacrifices. Leaving family behind to face all kinds of uncertainty that we could never imagine.

Thinking of and thanking our fallen, our veterans and those who stand behind them.
