Yesterday was a day for Halloween fun, family style. We attended a Halloween Spooktacular party at the Canada Games Center (our big and awesome rec center). This was our second year attending it and I just loved it.
For me it was such a joy to see so many familiar faces from the community, coming out to enjoy the fun. Tons of little children were all dressed up in every costume imaginable! The staff were all dressed up and had little activity centers going on. Best of all, Winslow had the day off, so the 3 of us were able to go together and take in all the fun.
It was a fun afternoon but by the end of it all, I definitely needed a rest. I think I may have overdone it a bit, all the walking and standing around. Even though I may have pushed it, I'm so glad we went. I can't help but think that this little outing could be our last outing as a family of 3. Of course I am so excited for our sweet girl to come and join the family, but I also cherish my time with Noah so very much. He is my darling boy and I suppose I'm feeling sentimental about our relationship.
Noah is so adorable. Amazing how time flies. When I first read your blog, he was just a baby. Enjoy your last remaining weeks with him before the baby arrives. My kids were 21 months apart and I don't remember much of my youngest child's babyhood as I was so busy...take loads of pictures (back then 25 years ago, film was expensive to buy and develop and we only took pictures now and then,...which crushes me now). I so wish blogs were around then and digital as I would have a much better record of my kids childhood.....
