tying up loose ends

There are exactly 2 days left until Winslow, Noah, the babe in my tummy and I board the plane for Ontario and I am so so so very excited for so many reasons.
This will be our first time away together since last December and Winslow's first time going home in over a year. Our families are so excited to see us and we are so excited to see them.
We'll be away for just under a month and in that time we will be taking a road trip (with Noah's Lolo and Lola) to go to P.E.I. for my step sister's wedding and a sort of family reunion. Yay...I just can't believe it's here.
On top of a wedding there will be the excitement of meeting 2 very special babies. My dear friend Eugenia had her second beautiful baby boy on Aug 21st and my bestest childhood friend Amy is due with her first baby this September. I'm honestly so excited to meet both these little bundles. I can't wait to hold them and cuddle them and kiss them and inspect their tiny toes and fingers :O) Makes me so excited for the arrival of our precious babe at the end of November.
But before we go it feels like I have so much to do and to finish up. I have a re-take of a photo session this morning and a specialist appointment in this afternoon. A house to organize and clean, laundry to finish and luggage to pack. Friends to say goodbye to and projects/crafting to finish so that I can bring them with me. Oh so very much!
Funny enough, one thing that has been irking me is to use up as much of our fresh produce as I can before we go. So yesterday I made a giant salad for lunch and made this delicious dressing to go on top. It's called magic sauce and I swear, I will be making this stuff again and again and putting it on everything! Today we will be munching on all our fresh fruit and veggies (something we should do regularly anyways) in hopes of not wasting any food.
Happy Monday friends!
I'll be back once I'm in the big city!
