east coast gal

I may be living in the West now ( North West actually) but in my heart I'll always be an East Coast gal. Just the way it is.
A little sketch I did recently.
Do you have something you'd like to see drawn in my sketchbook? I'll take a few people's requests and work on them over the next bit. Might be a good way to force me to draw more.....
I'm taking requests!

  5. Ooo. I feel asleep last night thinking about what you could draw for us MN folks. I'm going to keep thinking. I have a few ideas brewing. How's the house settling going? What does Noah think?

  6. I love seeing your sketch book! How about drawing a picnic on the moon? Or maybe an octopus with balloons.

p.s. I'm drinking your coffee with nutmeg instead of cinnamon. (heart)

Johanna, these are the totally cheesy books I read in jr. high school, but I thought of them the other day for you. They are about a mountie and his wife in western Canada.

  10. Oh, she is just darling! I could look at her all day. I am so jealous. I've always wished I could draw. My sketches look as if one of my young elementary students did them. I'm not too bad a cutesy kindergarten cut paper stuff, but real sketching... that's not even in the realm of possibility. That said, I'll leave it to you and look forward to seeing what you come up with. You've lots of good ideas there.
