I may be living in the West now ( North West actually) but in my heart I'll always be an East Coast gal. Just the way it is.
A little sketch I did recently.
Do you have something you'd like to see drawn in my sketchbook? I'll take a few people's requests and work on them over the next bit. Might be a good way to force me to draw more.....
I'm taking requests!
She is so cute with one sock slipping down! Why don't you have an etsy shop by the way? :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, I would LOVE a sketch of me and Kiki!
xo
how's about me?!
ReplyDeletelove the drawing!
That's a great idea taking requests to get you going. Hmmm how about some cute monkeys, I don't know... I like monkeys. : ) Carrie
ReplyDeletelove the sketch.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Love this picture!
ReplyDelete(And maybe you could draw a little fawn....)
^_^
Ooo. I feel asleep last night thinking about what you could draw for us MN folks. I'm going to keep thinking. I have a few ideas brewing. How's the house settling going? What does Noah think?
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your sketch book! How about drawing a picnic on the moon? Or maybe an octopus with balloons.
ReplyDeletep.s. I'm drinking your coffee with nutmeg instead of cinnamon. (heart)
have you thought about illustrating children's books? maybe writing your own and illustrating it? i think you'd be great at that!

ReplyDeleteJohanna, these are the totally cheesy books I read in jr. high school, but I thought of them the other day for you. They are about a mountie and his wife in western Canada.
Noah playing... landscape of the Yukon, that is unique to there.. a typical house there.... maybe some of your favourite photos; drawn...(i did that once for my mom's birthday...)
ReplyDeleteI love her sock too!
lots of love

Oh, she is just darling! I could look at her all day. I am so jealous. I've always wished I could draw. My sketches look as if one of my young elementary students did them. I'm not too bad a cutesy kindergarten cut paper stuff, but real sketching... that's not even in the realm of possibility. That said, I'll leave it to you and look forward to seeing what you come up with. You've lots of good ideas there.
ReplyDeletesuch a great idea! i love it and your illustrations bring a smile to my face!
ReplyDeletehappy monday.
