Yesterday was just warm enough to go for a short walk with the babe. I decided that he would be more snuggly and warm in his ergo baby carrier. The light was beautiful at 3:30 in the afternoon. The days are getting longer and that makes me happier...sunshine helps the mood, you know.
I took a few pics with the point and shoot. One is of berries still clinging to their branches and one is of the park at the end of my street. In the distance you can see children walking home from school. I can't wait to take Noah to that park in the summer. I have a feeling that we will go there everyday and use the swings.
Today I went to Mother Goose with Noah and then had lunch at a pub with my mommy friends. It was very nice. I also went grocery shopping, made date squares and went to the gym.
Tomorrow I am going to a New Years baby party at a friend's house....it's the same group of mommy friends that I just mentioned. We do things like go to Mother Goose together, have coffee, have each other over. It means a lot to me to have these friends here in Hamilton. I'm very thankful to have met them.
I am still in the process of getting my studio space together. It is looking nice and I am setting a goal that by Friday it will look nice enough to post pictures here. I am also slowly but surely working on a painting.
Lately I've been thinking that I need to be better at time management. I seem to spend a lot of time thinking about all of the things I wish to do and not enough time doing the things I wish to do. It seems that I just don't have enough time to do it all. Either I need to be more organized or just have less expectations of myself. My mom and I were talking about this yesterday. I think I'm going to make a better effort to accomplish things during the day. More to do lists I say!
Are you a list person? A post-it person? A calendar or agenda type person?
Off to bed.

i love the first photo :) so pretty!
ReplyDeletePretty!!
ReplyDeleteI walked with G in our Ergo today as well -- she's getting heavy to carry for a long time, but even after three hours of walking I was alright.
(I think my body is just sore from my BodyFlow class yesterday morning!)
Thanks notebook doodles!
ReplyDeleteAnd Ms. Fawn...I don't know how you carry baby Fawn around anymore...I'm finding it hard with Noah. Maybe I'm not wearing him properly but my hips always seem to hurt after a good walk. Oh and god on ya for hitting up a exercise class!
You are going to use that park all the time!! It's a fantastic way to enjoy the beautiful summer sun. So glad the days are starting to get longer now.
ReplyDeleteI am a list person. I find I can accomplish so much more when I actually write things down. It most definitely helps me stay organized.
