dear friends

Dear friends,
I've been a bit quiet this week. Something has come up, changes and opportunities have been presented to us and all I can say is that it's been a week of ups and downs. I can't quite go into details but I can say that more than ever, I think this blog will be needed. I don't want to worry you, overall this is a positive opportunity but I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared about the unknown.
Tell me friends, have you ever been in a situation where things were about to change big time? Have you ever worried or wondered about the uncertainty of it all? Have you ever asked yourself, I am making the right decision?
I'm sorry to lay such heavy stuff down here, especially for a weekend post, but this is where my head space is at the moment.
I promise to tell you more in the coming days.
Until then have a fabulous weekend and enjoy each and every moment of it. And again thank you for being such wonderful friends
xox

  1. The fear of the unknown is always hard. But I am sure once this change has occurred, you will be in a happy place again, and thankful for the experience! It's just the process of getting there that can be tough. Things always seem to have a way of working themselves out in the end.

  4. Dear Johanna,
I think we have all had at least one situation where we wished someone would point us in the right direction, because making a decision yourself seems hard if not impossible.
Listen to your heart, I know it will give oyu the answer.
    Take care sweet friend,
    Dawn

  7. Hello dear one,
I have been in this situation MANY times. And somehow things have a way of working themselves out. I don't know how or why...but they do. There have been times I just didn't know which way to turn..and sometimes you just jump. But through good and bad...you make it through....You just do.

Know you have all of us here for support and understanding...we are here for each other...

And it's so true...follow your heart...

We all love you and care about you.

    Sending love,

    Kary

  9. I may not know exactly what's happening in your life right now, but the feeling of leaping into the unknown; the worry; the uncertainty - these things I know.
It's always worth it, though ... change, that is. Change means new opportunities, new people, new inspirations.

I do hope whatever is going on with these changes in your life opens new doors & brings new joys!

  10. Growing up in a military family was always about uncertainty and newness for me. As an adult I pretty much recreate the feeling of excitement, fear and overall angst out of habit- and it's lead me to some interesting places and choices!
Remember there is always opportunity for good and growth in times of turmoil. Hard to see until you're on the otherside of it but you obviously have the support and love of many! That will make it easier.

  11. YES! I am there at that place, the one that you hold your breath so long thinking that you will hear a clear YES OR NO_ GO-STAY.TRY or DON'T..but it does'nt come and you write list after lists in your minds walls and your heart is tightening....
and you don't yet know anything except that you want whatever it is to be done.....
so you go and walk, get coffee, walk some more turn the tele anything really so for a minute or two you can be back to that place where you knew what tomorrow was going to be all about!

    oh man an i there!

  12. Johanna--
I'm sending thoughts and prayers your way and am glad that you shared with us. Even though you didn't share a lot (which is totally your decision), I'm glad that you let us know so that we could offer kind words to you. Sometimes that's really all you need. I'm going through kind of a breakup with a close friend and it's nice to know that there's someone out there who faces adversary with such grace as you.
    XO--Amanda
