Today is Christmas Eve. There is so much to reflect upon today. Today is the day before Jesus's birthday, a joyful celebration! And I am more thankful than ever to God for all of the blessings that have been given to us. Health, family, friends, love, my husband, my beautiful child, peace....there is so much to be thankful for.This year Winslow and I decided to make a donation to the Hamilton Food Bank for our family donation. When Winslow's family first came to Canada from the Philippines they accepted donations from the food bank at Christmas. So after giving it some thought, we felt it was the right place to give to this year.
Whether you believe in religion or have your own spirituality I hope that this Christmas and holiday time is special and magical for you and yours. I hope that you can find some time for quiet reflection on what the season means to you. Wishing you peace and love.
