top Christmas movies

Not feeling quite Christmasy yet? Need help getting in the mood? Over heated shopping malls, long to do lists and too many gifts to buy getting you down? Then what you need is a good Christmas movie to get you back on track, to get you feelin' chipper and ready to go!
Here are my top favourite Christmas movies!

1. Love Actually! This could actually be my favourite movie of all time, so definitely this is my favourite Christmas movie. Funny. Sweet. Very charming. Good music.

2. It's a Wonderful Life. Beautiful. Classic. Meaningful. Perfect.

3. This movie makes me so happy. It makes me laugh. Very hard. Will Ferrell.
4. White Christmas. Snow snow snow!

5. Raymond Brigg's The Snowman

6. Charlie Brown's Christmas. Nostalgic.
7. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
8. A Christmas Claymation.
9. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.
10. Frosty the Snowman.

What are your favourite Christmas movies? Have I left one of your favourite ones out?

  3. So, I doubt anybody else is going to say this, but, my favorite Christmas movie is the CareBear Nutcracker. ...I'm a nerd. I watched it a thousand times when I was a little girl, and I just recently bought it for my daughter. It makes me happy.

  6. Tia! I think you may be right about you being the only fan of the Carebear Christmas ;o) but I may be on my own with the Christmas Claymation....
Des, I wish we could have a holiday movie party together too! I imagine that we would have warm drinks like apple cider and eat popcorn and sit around in comfy clothes while the babes would play on the floor.
Alena, Polar Expess should be on this list too! LOve the animation!

  7. What a great list! I haven't seen some of these and will have to check em out this season. A few that are a must see for me are "A Garfield Christmas Special", "Mickey's Christmas Carol", "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation", "The Grinch" and "Mixed Nuts" with Steve Martin. "A Christmas Story" with the leg lamp gives me a great laugh every year too. Typing this is getting me excited for Christmas. Thanks Johanna!

  10. I also love "A Christmas Story", the Muppet Family Christmas" (...I think is the name. The muppets are all on a farm and miss piggy gets caught in a snow storm), "One Magic Christmas" and "National Lampoon Christmas Vacation".
