our snowy snowy walk (heavy with pictures-but worth it)
The Christmas spirit is slowly making it's way into my heart and how could it not with all this beautiful beautiful snow. Recently a friend (hi Joy!) was telling me that she though the Yukon was so much more pretty in the winter and I think I would have to agree with her on that. I can't tell you how beautiful it is to walk along a trail, where the only foot prints are those of some animal (most likely a fox) and look out to see pristine untouched gorgeous white powdery snow....everywhere. It really is breath taking.
And so yesterday on Winslow's day off we took Noah on yet another wintery sleigh ride, down a trail that we hadn't been on before and this is what we saw and did.... The last picture is of me, very tired, after pulling Noah up a big hill. I was pretty out of breath but I felt good. Guess I better hit up the trails more often to build up my endurance. Oh and isn't the photo of Noah and his snow angel just the cutest thing ever?
So in conclusion I think it is safe to say that if we continue on these kinds of wintery snowy walks, that yes, the Christmas spirit will continue to be alive and well in my heart this season.

ReplyDeleteHi! Haven't been here in a while. Happy to see you are all doing well.
ReplyDeleteThis post just got me so excited for Christmas in West Virginia. We had tons of snow there last year but Lily was only 1 month old. Can't wait to see what she will be like when she first sees snow this year.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Pretty pictures! Following you now :)
