the tuesday diptych project week 31

Johanna: I've been told that fall can last all of two weeks here in the Yukon and so I am making it my mission to get out and enjoy every last drop of this beautiful season. This evening Winslow and I packed Noah up in the backpack carrier and took him on a hike on a trail behind our house. It was just so beautiful out there, looking out to the mountains that are all firey red from the fireweed that is turning colour. Just beautiful!

Desiree: My baby is looking much less like a baby these days and much more like a little girl. She's growing into such an incredible person and I'm grateful for the mounds of photos I've taken over the last 19-months so that I'll always remember these amazing changes. The weeks are moving quickly and age two seems very close. So far, every age she's been has been my favourite. It just keeps getting better. Every single day.

  1. That is a short autumn Johanna! Your fall photos have been stunning. Are the evenings starting to close in now?
I loved the post with the family photos. What a great family! A beautiful setting as well.
    Thinking of you all.

Desiree....Your little Gretchen is certainly not a baby now! Treasure every moment.
