So it's the official start to my and Winslow's month apart and I must be honest with you, it's going to be hard. Hard for the obvious reasons, like me having Noah all on my own but also hard on the heart. I'm going to miss our day to day routines like having dinner together at the table and turning in at bedtime.
In preparation of our time apart I spent a bit of time last week in my studio working on a little Valentine's gift for him to take and open up. I don't know about you, but we've never been into buying big gifts for Valentine's Day, instead we usually make something for one another and have a nice meal together (* although, Winslow did buy me two teddy bears last year).
Here's a pic of my crazy messy art table. I took the pic right in the middle of my creating process. As you can see I have all my necessary things right at hand, including my Mac and coffee!
Next week I'll post a pic of the little surprise I made for my sweetie.
I miss you my love! xox
So sweet! He'll be back before you know it!

ouuu mtl! lets talk!
ReplyDeletethanks Kel- hope the time passes quickly
ReplyDeleteYou'd better log on quite a bit to get some blog love from us while he's gone!
ReplyDeleteI was cutting paper hearts today, too. :)
Hugging you warmly,
Dawn
Wow, a month is long. Good thing there's blogs and crafty projects! I love that peek at your crafting process, and I'm glad I'm not the only one at home in creative chaos when I craft. I firmly believe that you've gotta really get in there and make a mess before the whole project is finished. Looking forward to seeing what you made him.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I don't buy each other big gifts for Valentine's Day either. We usually make each other something small and cook dinner together. That's a perfect celebration to me.
Here's hoping the time flies by for you this month! xo Gigi
Thanks Gigi, sounds like we have similar tastes in Valentine's celebrations. Yes a month is a long time. I definitely miss him already.
