Tonight we will light the house only by candles (and maybe the Christmas tree) and reflect on all the beauty of the earth. Today is the shortest day of the year, more time for snuggling in bed and sleeping. Happy Winter Solstice.
i love this idea, it is such a wonderful way to really step back and celebrate and enjoy the season. sounds like a beautiful family tradition. i might have to start this for my newly growing family! ps i had no idea it was winter solstice, thanks :)
