I get by with a little help from my friend- caffeine

Was it ever a late night last night and I mean LATE. Little Noah decided that he should throw an all night party last night...that boy is a party animal. I took the 11-3am shift while Papa took the rest of the night ( I still wake up during Papa's shift, as I am the beverage supplier to Noah).
Anyways, this morning called for some serious caffeine and I thought I'd share a little tasty tip on how to make your morning cuppa joe taste that much better. In fact I learned this trick from my sister Sarah who in turn learned it when she worked in Panama for sometime. Or maybe it was during her travels in Costa Rica....anyways it comes from South America.
So this is what you do...it's very easy but makes the coffee have less of a sour taste. Get ready for this....
add a dash of cinnamon to your dry coffee grinds before you add your water or turn on the coffee pot. Just sprinkle it on top of your dry grinds. But wait, why stop at cinnamon? I've been adding pumpkin spice (yes the type you use in pumpkin pie) to my morning coffee and I've been loving it! Just make sure to add to the dry coffee grinds...BEFORE you turn on the pot.
I'm telling you! Try it!

  1. Mmm, we're big fans of french press coffee. There's something so nice the whole ritual -- it's much closer to making tea, which I am so in love with for the sake of the ritual.
    So lovely!
