Thank goodness for long weekends! Hubby had to work both Saturday and Sunday which meant being the big pregnant lady that I am, I didn't really go anywhere or do anything. So all hopes and expectations were placed on Monday and happily it turned out to be a gorgeous day.
The morning started off with a big delicious breakfast...eggs, bacon, pancakes and lots of fresh berries. Then we went on a mini road trip, headed towards Long Point Beach on Lake Erie. Our adventure included: ice cream, french fries, the beach of course, sand, sunscreen (not enough for me apparently), road side fresh veggie stands and some good tunes. We made it home by dinner time and fixed a yummy dinner of salmon and fresh corn on the cob that we had picked up at the road side stand. It was the perfect summer day.
